INFORMATION NOTICE ON PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING FOR THE BANK’S ACTIVITIES AND ORGANIZATIONS

This Information Notice is hereby issued to inform you on processing of your personal data for the activities and procedures carried out by Turk Ekonomi Bankasi A.S. acting as Data Controller (the “Bank”) with regard to management of the recruitment processes as well as career and skills development as per Article 10 of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (the “Law”).

Personal Data Processing Purposes

Including special categories of personal data, your personal data is processed by the Bank within the scope of activities such as establishing and managing bank’s strategy, developing bank reputation and business relationship, innovation activities, training meetings, meetings, ceremonies and other organizations in order to maintain systematic continuance of the Bank activities related to the entrepreneurship ecosystem, for management of relations between you and the Bank and relations within this scope and is disclosed to corporate communication services providers, business partners, trainers, consultants and our Bank’s main/controlling shareholders, partners, subsidiaries, affiliates, group companies and BNPP SA Group for the aforesaid purposes.

Methods of Personal Data Collection and Legal Grounds of the Same

Your personal data is collected by the Bank upon delivery of your statements in physical or electronic medium within the frame of the relations between the Bank and you. Your personal data is collected and processed for legal reasons within the frame management of the Bank’s recruitment processes and conduct of the skill development activities.

Transfer of your Personal Data to Third Parties

For the aforesaid purposes of the data processing, your personal data may be disclosed or transferred to the Bank’s direct or indirect subsidiaries, affiliates operating in the country or abroad and main/controlling shareholders and partners, business or solution partners and suppliers and additionally legally-authorized public institutions and organizations, real persons or judicial authorities. Your personal data may be processed in the country or abroad within the frame of these disclosures.

Term of Processing of Your Personal Data

Your personal data will be processed during the terms required for the personal data processing purposes set forth in this text. After completion of the anticipated processing term, where processing for longer term is required by any law or regulation or for any legal reason, which requires or enables longer term data processing, your personal data will be continued to be processed throughout such terms. At the completion of all these terms, your personal data will promptly be deleted or anonymized.

Security Measures Taken with Regard to your Personal Data

Any and all technical and administrative measures are taken by the Bank to ensure establishment of the adequate level of security and protection to prevent illegal processing of your personal data, illegal access in your personal data and to protect and safeguard your personal data.

Your Rights relating to Your Personal Data

- You have the following rights on your personal data as per Article 11 of the Law:
- To learn if your personal data is processed,
- To request information on your personal data, if your personal data is processed,
- To learn the purpose of processing the personal data and if your personal data is processed for the relevant purpose,
- To learn the third parties in the country or abroad that the personal data is transferred,
- In case of processing of the personal data deficiently or incorrectly, to request correction or completion of the same;
- To request deletion or destruction of the personal data,
- In case of correction, deletion or destruction of the personal data, to request that these acts be notified to the third parties whom the personal data is transferred before,
- To object to any outcome against the relevant person himself/or herself upon analysis of the processed data exclusively by means of automatic systems,
- In case the relevant person suffers any loss arisen out of the illegal processing of the personal data, to claim for indemnification of the relevant loss.


In order to exercise your aforementioned rights, you can contact our bank by the following ways, filling the application form given in the web site www.teb.com.tr/gizlilik- politikasi/#kisisel-verilerin-korunmasi or by TEB Branches:

After you fill the application form completely and exactly;
- You may send to our Bank’s address by return receipt registered mail or through the notary,
- You may affix your signature by safe electronic signature and send it to the e-mail kvkkbasvuru@teb.com.tr.
- It may be transmitted by REM (Registered E-mail) to the address turkekonomibankasi@hs03.kep.tr

The Bank will fulfill the requests of the personal data owners, transmitted in writing or any other method to be designated by the Board with regard to the afore-listed rights shortly and within no later than thirty days. Applications of the data owners may be charged by the Board according to the tariffs.

Additional information and documents may be requested by the Bank in order to reply the applications of the data owners, verify the applicant’s identity and clarify the request of the applicant. In case of failure in delivery of such additional information and documents, the applicant’s application may not be replied.
